Radio Access Network Specialist (GSM/UMTS) (nr ref. CON/APP/01/10)

Location: 
Wrocław

Responsibilities:
  • Customer requirements analysis
  • The definition of typical RAN configuration activities at operator’s at the level of respective atributes
  • Configuration of network elements configuration,
  • Network model definition
  • The definition of the formal rules of general model transformation to specific model manufacturer (Nokia, Siemens, Ericsson)
  • Preparation of test cases,
  • Execution of test cases,
  • Error reporting,
  • Assisting developers in solving problems,
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of telecommunications related issues, particularly the RAN network configurations for UMTS and GSM
  • Knowledge of tools: O&M (NetAct, CM*, etc.)
  • Experience in software testing, knowledge of testing techniques,
  • Ability of rapid knowledge acquisition,
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Analytical skills, problem-solving abilities
  • Large commitment to the tasks performed, the orientation of the purpose.
  • Good knowledge of English in speaking and writing
Nice to have:
  • Experience in the configuration of commercial radio network
  • German knowledge
