Accession to "CAN in Automation(CiA)" association
|
REC is a member of the “CAN in Automation (CiA)” association www.can-cia.org . CiA is an international user group of all manufactures and users for Controller Area Network (CAN) products. The non-profit association provides technical, product and marketing information about CAN, internationally standardized in the ISO 11898 series. The internationally standardized CAN network is suitable for all kinds of embedded real-time control systems. CAN is not only the dominating communication technology in passenger cars, but also in many other mission-critical applications from the domains Transportation, Manufacturing, Construction, and Agriculture over Healthcare and Science to Retail and Finances, Communication, and Entertainment. An essential aim of the CiA organization is the social networking of CAN interested parties as well as the continued standardization of the CAN to meet the demands of the future. As a company with strong core competence for Automotive, M2M and Embedded SW development REC considers as important to actively observe the technical developments and market trends in this area and utilize the benefits of this membership for competence increase and business development. |
Business Development Director for Germany on board

On 01 April 2009 Konrad Haeusler joined REC as the Business Development Director for Germany. He is responsible for Market Research, Portfolio Strategy, Marketing, Sales and Partner Management in Germany. He is located in Ismaning, near Munich airport. Konrad Haeusler has extensive knowledge and experience in Business Development, Consulting,Project- and Partner Management in the area of Software Development, IT-Services, IT-Compliance, electronic and mobile Business, Global Sourcing/Near/Offshore and SAP esp. in Poland, Russia and India. In recent years he has been involved in different projects for instance, the formation and development of the Siemens SIS Offshore Centers in Wroclaw, Poland and in Voronezh, Russia. 2 December 2008 Accession to Cluster

On 2 December 2008 the agreement of accession to the “Knowledge and Innovation Community for Information and Communication Technologies” was signed. The main objective of the cluster is to establish a common cooperation platform for innovative Polish and European IT & ICT Companies, institutions using IT as well as local governmental bodies and Colleges & Universities as well as specialized higher education institutions. |
